Shipping
We use a lot of care to grow what we feel are high quality plants and we want to see that they make it to their new home safely. To ensure the safe arrival of your plants all of our plant material will be shipped priority mail. We will not ship while the plants are pushing in the spring so there may be a wait of two to three weeks during this time.
We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays so that your trees will not sit in the post office over the weekend.

When you order the shipping charges are at actual cost calculated using a real-time calcalulator with the USPS.

West of the Rockies, there is an approximate ship charge of $9.50 per 1 year plant
West of the Rockies, there is an approximate ship charge of $12.50 per 2 year plant
West of the Rockies, there is an approximate ship charge of $18.50 per 3 year plant
East of the Rockies, there is an approximate ship charge of $12.50 per 1 year plant
East of the Rockies, there is an approximate ship charge of $18.50 per 2 year plant
East of the Rockies, there is an approximate ship charge of $24.50 per 3 year plant
Shipping Procedures
To facilitate shipping, your plant will be taken out of it's container and the plant roots and soil will be placed in plastic. A minimal amount of soil is disturbed from their roots during this process to insure that the root integrity is maintained. We understand how important it is to keep the root hairs from damage and drying. Since our plants are container grown it is easy to ship you plants that will arrive in great health. We will notify you of the exact date by email several days prior to shipping your order.
Since our plants are container grown we can ship anytime.
Requests For Shipping Dates
While we do our best to meet your requested shipping date, plant availability and extreme hot or cold temperatures may affect the exact week your order will be shipped. Typically, plant orders go out the following Monday after an order is recieved.
Plant orders are packed on Sundays and Monday and shipped each Monday morning. To ensure your plants arrive in good condition, they must reach their destination by the end of the week, so that they don't spend the weekend in a sweltering warehouse somewhere.
If you would like your shipment sent a particular week, your order, including payment information, must be placed no later than 2:00 pm the previous Friday.
We cannot make changes to orders any later than noon the Saturday before the order is to be shipped.
Handling Charges
Handling includes pulling plants from the field, labeling, sorting, removing pots and some soil, bagging, wrapping, and packaging. Shipping and handling costs are calculated on the subtotal before sales tax.
There is a Handling Charge of $3.50 per plant.
