Acer palmatum Ryugu is a beautiful variegated tree dwarf that has leaves that emerge pinkish-orange in the Spring with a nice splash of pink across each green leaf. Ryugu leaves change to cream and green in Summer. Fall brings about leaves with bright reds. Ryugu is an upright, dense, small tree. Fairly hardy.

Ryusen (Ryusei)
Ryusen Japanese maple is a unique weeping variety of Acer plamatum with green palmate leaves. Most other cascading Japanese maple varieties have lace leaves. In addition, Ryusen has the extreme habit of cascading, which makes it ideal for a tight spot in the landscape or as a focal point for an unusual specimen. To gain height Rysuen often needs to be staked. Ryusen has fall colors that go through the wonderful color changes of yellow - orange - to scarlet red. Ryusen Japanese maple is also known as Ryusei. Very hardy and a vigorous grower.

Ryuzu
Ryuzu is a delightful Acer palmatum dwarf that has tightly spaced overlapping leaves. In the spring the leaves emerge light green with faint pink to deep orange overtones. The palmate leaves become green in summer with red serrations making a nice summer show. In fall the leaves turn golden-orange. Ryuzu means "Ornamental Dragon's Head". This dwarf will grow to about 6 feet. Sun/ afternoon shade.

Seigen is very nice small-leaved, delicate-looking plant with scarlet-red color in the spring. Leaves change to a blend of green and bronze in summer. Fall color is a mixture of bright orange-yellow.
