Beni shichihenge is a gorgeous Acer palmatum known for its variegated leaf color. Leaves start out green with cream and orangish/pink margins in spring, turning to oranges and deep pinks and purples in falls, providing a true rainbow of color. “Beni Shichihenge” in Japanese translates to “red and changing.” Beni Shichihenge is a medium tree, reaching 12 feet tall at maximum height. Twiggy growth habit. Full sun / partial shade is best.
