Coonara Pygmy
Coonara Pygmy is a very nice roundish dwarf maple. Coonara pygmy has small bright green leaves which emerge in spring that are densely clustered on the stems. Fall colors transitions into yellow-orange and pink to deep pink tones in late fall. Discovered in Australia. Morning sun afternoon shade is best in hot climates. 5′ tall x 5′ wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.

Aka hosada is beautiful new strap-leaf selection that is very sun hardy and provides a display of red colors throughout the season. Aka hosada tends to hold it’s color better than any other Linearlobium and even in mid summer heat. A small upright maple that will reach about 6 feet in 10 years. Can stand winter temperatures down to -10 degrees. Does best in zones 6 through 9.
