Hanami nishiki
$34.99 – $62.99
Hanami nishiki is considered to be one of the gems of the dwarf Japanese maple group. What sets it apart from most of the other Japanese maples is that it is among the smallest leaved forms. Light green leaves emerge in the Spring tinged with orange, eventually turning a pleasing green in Summer. Fall colors are yellow, orange to scarlet reds. Hanami nishiki grows rather slowly and will attain a height of about 4′ tall x 4′ wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.

A. japonicum Giant Moon
Giant moon is a new cultivar which we are still evaluating. Very large light green orbicular leaves emerge from this japonicum with tinges of pink. The leaves as they emerge are covered with a fine hair making them silvery in appearance. Growth appears to be similar to A.j. Aconitifolium in that it is open and layering. Sun /afternoon shade.
