Acer palmatum Hanezu hagomoro is the yellow-orange selection of the Hagomoro group of cultivars. Hagoromo means feathered which describes the shape of the leaves. Hanezu hagomoro is a bright sunny yellow with rays of orange in the spring. In summer the leaves turn a pleasing light green and finally in fall turn yellow. Hanezu hagoromo is upright and somewhat narrow in form like the other hagomoro Acers. Growth to about 6′ in 10 years. Rare and unusual.
