Ornatum is one of my favorite lace leafs, this outstanding bronze-red spring foliage is different from all other dissectums. The orange-brick red contrasts very nicely with the lime green bark. Stays brick-orange in color throughout the summer. Like most dissectums it will grow into a mounded shaped tree. Mature height is about 8ft. tall by 8ft wide. Fall color is a bright crimson-red. Sun/ part shade

Acer circinatum Sunny Sister
Another wonderful cultivar of Acer circinatum, 'Sunny Sister' shines like it's sister 'Sunglow'. Sunny Sister displays tones of lots of apricot and peach ("more so than Sunglow") as the leaves emerge in spring, fading to a lime chartruese yellow for the rest of the season. Slow growing this maple will reach 6 feet in 10 years. Morning sun with protection from hot sun is best. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.
Acer palmatum – species
These Japanese maple trees are green leafed species maples. That is they are seedlings of the genus Acer palmatum. They are beautiful in their own way all slightly different from one another. They are often hardier than cultivars and make a great choice for the gardener that is looking for a Japanese maple for the first time. They are great for multiple plantings in the landscape or bonsai. Spring time color is light green with flecks of red from the leaf buds. As summer progresses the leaves turn a darker shade of green. Fall brings bright oranges and reds to the leaves. Very hardy. Under optimum conditions this tree can grow 30 feet high or more. Many of the trees we offer may have a small grafting scar from a failed grafting attempt. This scar will be gone in a year or two as the tree matures.

Acer circinatum Baby Buttons
Acer circinatum Baby Buttons is a very nice cultivar of the vine maple. Baby Buttons is a dwarf maple with a round form. The beautiful green leaves are much smaller than the species. Baby Buttons prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 2' tall x 2' wide in 10 years. Very similar to Borts Broom - perhaps the same? Graft bulge often present. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.

Acer circinatum Dels Dwarf
Del's Dwarf is a very colorful circinatum that emerges bronze and orange in the spring. Leaves are smaller than the species and perhaps thicker. Smaller than the species but similar habit with multiple branching. Brilliant Orange and Red fall color. Very hardy Dwarf to 6 feet in 10 years. Sun /part shade. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.
Abigail Rose is a wonderful dwarf Acer palmatum with variegated leaves like a miniature Alpenweiss or Higasayama, that has delicate reticulated leaves. Many leaves do not have variegation when young but as the tree matures more variegation develops. Spring color is a showy display of pinks and reds, while fall color displays brilliant orange and yellow. Abigail Rose is a small dwarf with slender twigs which will grow up to 6-feet high and 5-foot wide in 10 years. Abigail Rose is susceptible to powdery mildew and needs to be placed where there is good airflow. Does best in morning sun afternoon shade, an ideal tree for containers and areas with warmer, dry weather.
