Acer palmatum Tobiosho is know for it’s vivid fall colors. Tobiosho has green palmate leaves that are serrated with 5 lobes. Like many Japanese maples that have good fall color this maple has outstanding colors of gold, orange and then finally bursting into scarlet red. Tobiosho is hardy and a moderate grower, reaching about 15′ tall x 12′ wide in about 10 years. Can take zone 5.
