      Acer circinatum Burgundy Jewel
Acer circinatum Burgundy Jewel is a wonderful small tree or shrub. The unique charateristic of this vine maple cultivar is that it has purple-red leaves which hold their color well throughout summer, especially in full sun. In fact, Burgundy Jewel holds its' color best when placed in full sun! Fall colors range from brilliant orange to scarlet red. Burgundy Jewel will grow to about 6' tall x 4' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.

      Acer circinatum Sunny Sister
Another wonderful cultivar of Acer circinatum, 'Sunny Sister' shines like it's sister 'Sunglow'. Sunny Sister displays tones of lots of apricot and peach ("more so than Sunglow") as the leaves emerge in spring, fading to a lime chartruese yellow for the rest of the season. Slow growing this maple will reach 6 feet in 10 years. Morning sun with protection from hot sun is best. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.

      Acer circinatum Pacific Fire
Pacific Fire is my favorite cultivar of Acer circinatum. Pacific Fire has flaming red bark in the winter that dazzles in the landscape with color. The orange - red bark has a waxy sheen to it that really makes the bark shine. Nice bronzing of the leaves when placed in full sun. A multibranching shrub/tree like the species but slower growing. Fall color is bright yellows with some orange which really make a show against the firery bark! 10 feet in 8 years. . Holds up well in the sun and heat... tends to become even more beautiful in the full sun. Will burn in extreme heat (> 90°) Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.

      A. japonicum Giant Moon
Giant moon is a new cultivar which we are still evaluating. Very large light green orbicular leaves emerge from this japonicum with tinges of pink. The leaves as they emerge are covered with a fine hair making them silvery in appearance. Growth appears to be similar to A.j. Aconitifolium in that it is open and layering. Sun /afternoon shade.
