Brandt’s Dwarf is one of the oldest Acer palmatum red dwarf maples. The leaves emerge in the Spring bright red and then deepen to a blood red in the Summer. Later in the season the leaves fade to a rusty green color. At maturity Brandt’s dwarf will reach about 3 feet high. Brandt’s dwarf habit is a dense rounded shrub. The fall color is bright scarlet red. Hardy.

Sunny Sister displays tones of lots of apricot and peach ("more so than Sunglow") as the leaves emerge in spring, fading to a lime chartruese yellow for the rest of the season. Little Gem is a wonderful Acer circinatum dwarf. Little Gem is a dwarf vine maple that was discovered as a witches broom in a vine maple. The Little Gem maple grows into a compact rounded shrub to about 3 feet high. Little Gem has small orbicular leaves about 1" in size which emerge light green in spring and turn to a darker shade by summer. Fall color is orange turning to fiery red. Hardy and can take cold to -10F
