Japanese maple Hime shojo is a small deciduous tree with a broad twiggy form. Hime sojo has leaves in the Spring that are a pleasing reddish brown. They turn more green in summer, especially if planted in shade. Prefers sun/partial shade. Fall colors orange and red. Dwarf sized to 6′ . Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.

Little Gem is a wonderful Acer circinatum dwarf. Little Gem is a dwarf vine maple that was discovered as a witches broom in a vine maple. The Little Gem maple grows into a compact rounded shrub to about 3 feet high. Little Gem has small orbicular leaves about 1" in size which emerge light green in spring and turn to a darker shade by summer. Fall color is orange turning to fiery red. Hardy and can take cold to -10F
