Acer japonicum Fairy Lights is a slow growing dwarf Japanese maple that has leaves much like A. japonicum Dancing Peacock but are more highly dissected. In Spring, foliage emerges light green, changing to deep green in the summer. In Fall, Fairy lights shines just like other japonicums going through all the fall colors with magnificence. Fall colors will range from bright yellow to then orange and then flaming scarlet red. Fairy lights forms a low growing tree with horizontal branches. Remaining small, it's compact form makes it great for a smaller garden or a container. Fairy lights is hardy to -10° F. Prefers afternoon shade in hot climate.

Acer circinatum Burgundy Jewel is a wonderful small tree or shrub. The unique charateristic of this vine maple cultivar is that it has purple-red leaves which hold their color well throughout summer, especially in full sun. In fact, Burgundy Jewel holds its' color best when placed in full sun! Fall colors range from brilliant orange to scarlet red. Burgundy Jewel will grow to about 6' tall x 4' wide in 10 years.
