This Beni Hime Acer palmatum Japanese maple is ideal for Bonsai. The Beni Hime is a great plant for bonsai because it has very small leaves and is a dwarf maple. Leaves emerge with a bright red color in the spring. Summertime foliage is pleasing green. This maple is 3-4 yrs old, 1 gallon plant. Beni Hime is a dwarf that if planted out in the landscape will reach about 4′.
