Brandt’s Dwarf
Brandt's Dwarf is one of the oldest Acer palmatum red dwarf maples derived from a witches' broom of atropurpureum. The leaves emerge in the Spring bright purple-red and then deepen to a blood red in the Summer. Later in the season the leaves fade to a rusty green color. At maturity Brandt's dwarf will reach about 3 feet high and about the same in width. Brandt's dwarf habit is a dense rounded shrub. The fall color is bright scarlet red. This is a hardy dwarf variety.

Edna Bergman is a strong growing Acer palmatum that emerges rust-red in spring, fading to a dusty rose and finally bronzed green in late summer. Fall color provides bright oranges and reds. Very unusual colors. Edna Bergman is a vigorous large upright tree with medium sized leaves, growing to a maximum height of 18 feet. Sun / part shade is best.
