Beni Maiko is one of the Acer palmatums known for its scarlet red leaves in spring as it begins to leaf out. In Japanese, beni maiko translates to "red-haired dancing girl." Red spring color matures to red-green with the main veins and leaf stalks remaining red. Fall color is equally as impressive as the spring as the leaves slowly change to a fiery red. This is a mid sized maple, reaching 8-10 feet at mature height. Best suited for zones 6-9.
Coral Pink is an unusual and very attractive Acer palmatum Japanese maple named for its' coral-pink leaves and shoots that emerge in the spring. Originally propagated in the Netherlands, Coral Pink in summer sees a change to yellows and greens before turning to light gray-green variegation. Nice yellow and orange fall color. This is a slow growing maple that will reach to about 6 feet in ten years. Morning sun / part shade is best.

Acer palmatum Tobiosho is know for it's vivid fall colors. Tobiosho has green palmate leaves that are serrated with 5 lobes. Like many Japanese maples that have good fall color this maple has outstanding colors of gold, orange and then finally bursting into scarlet red- a true showstopper during the fall months. Tobiosho is hardy and a moderate grower, reaching about 15 feet tall x 12 feet wide in about 10 years. Full, classic tree shape that will provide shade for anything planted beneath it. Best suited for zones 5-9.
