Red Leaf Maples

Crimson Queen is a lace leaf cultivar that is an excellent all-round performer, keeping its' red undertones throughout the year. Dark purple-red leaves fade slightly in late summer, changing to bright red in Fall. It has a typical umbrella shape that is common among the weeping lace leaf varieties. A favorite among Americans, Crimson Queen has received the Royal Horticultural Society of Garden Merit. This strong growing cultivar will reach up to 10 feet tall and 12 feed wide in 12 years. A hard lace leaf that does well in hot climates - but protect from intense hot sun, (can endure up to 100 F).
