waterfall maple

Acer palmatum Waterfall is a wonderful hardy and fast growing green lace leaf (dissectum) Japanese Maple that will reach 6 feet in 10 years. Waterfall is a weeping maple, typical of most lace leaf maples. The light green spring color turns brilliant colors in the fall, covering all the colors of the rainbow, notably yellows and oranges and finally some fiery reds. Waterfall is hardy and can tolerate full sun, but needs partial shade in very hot climates. Waterfall is very similar to Viridis - but the leaf of the Waterfall maple tends to be slightly larger than Viridis.  Hardy to -15°. Best suited for zones 5-9.
