A. japonicum Green Cascade

Green Cascade is a wonderful pendulous form of Acer japonicum. Leaves are rich green and feathery, with a nice thickness to them. This is a great dissectum with brilliant fall colors that range through yellow-orange tones with traces of crimson. Low growing and vigorous this maple is a very nice addition to any collection. Slow mounding growth to 4-6 feet tall, 6-8 feet wide in 10 years. Green Cascade tends to grow laterally, unless staked upright. Sun/ part shade is preferred. Best suited for zones 5-9.

Dragon Tears

Dragon Tears is an Acer palmatum Japanese maple that a is relatively new introduction. This variety, named for the interesting way the tiny new crimson leaves emerge, matures through the summer to a deep burgundy. Dragon tears is unique in that it grows horizontally like the Ryusen, and has a semi-pendulous habit like lace leaf varieties. Fall color is bright red. Mature size after 10 years is 6 feet high by 6 feet wide. Hardy but needs shade in the afternoon in very hot climates. Best suited for zones 6-9.

Golden Falls

Golden Falls is a beautiful Acer palmatum Japanese maple that is similar to Ryusen in shape and cascading appearance. This dwarf variety emerges pink in the spring, slowly changing to a golden yellow color that holds all summer long before giving a display of oranges and reds in the fall. Like most weeping varieties, Golden Falls will grow more horizontally unless staked, reaching a maximum height of 4-5 feet in 10 years. This maple is heat tolerant and does well in zones 5-9.

Jeddeloh Orange is a wonderful lace leaf Japanese maple that bursts with color in the spring and fall. With a cascading habit typical of lace leafs, Jeddeloh Orange has orange leaves that emerge in the spring over deep green foliage. Ths green foliage lasts through out summer until Jeddeloh puts on a fall display of yellow orange to fiery red. Jeddeloh is hardy and can tolerate heat, but needs afternoon shade in very hot locations. Will grow to about 4-6 feet tall in about 10 years. Cold hardy to -10 F when established. Best suited for zones 5-9.

Spring leaf color is bright orange-red, while summer brings about foliage with a red with an orange-bronze overtone. With an incredible display of glowing red fall color, Orangeola holds its fall colors longer than most other varieties. This lace leaf variety is a vigorous grower, and can reach 4 feet tall in 10 years. Maximum height at full maturity can get closer to 8 feet. Sun /part shade is ideal. Best suited for zones 5-8.

Acer palmatum Waterfall is a wonderful hardy and fast growing green lace leaf (dissectum) Japanese Maple that will reach 6 feet in 10 years. Waterfall is a weeping maple, typical of most lace leaf maples. The light green spring color turns brilliant colors in the fall, covering all the colors of the rainbow, notably yellows and oranges and finally some fiery reds. Waterfall is hardy and can tolerate full sun, but needs partial shade in very hot climates. Waterfall is very similar to Viridis - but the leaf of the Waterfall maple tends to be slightly larger than Viridis. Hardy to -15°. Best suited for zones 5-9.
