Wintergold is a relatively new introduction that is sure to impress with it's stunning golden fall color. New growth is a beautiful pink orange, followed by yellow green in the summer and a brilliant golden yellow in the fall. Sunny areas are okay as long as it gets partial shade throughout the day. This tree falls in the mid range, reaching 10-12 feet at maximum height and an upright habit. Does well down to -10 in the winter, best suited for zones 6-9.

Wou nishiki has deeply divided heavily serrated leaves which emerge yellow green in the spring. The leaf margins are tinted with bright rose to give the leaves a rusty orange color. Sometimes in spring the entire leaf is apricot color! In the summer the leaves turn to a light green bronzing in the full hot sun. This beautiful upright tree will reach about 12 ft. Sun. /part shade

Acer japonicum Yama Kagi is a large-leafed maple like O'take. New growth emerges bright green and deepens throughout the summer to a darker hue. Leaf shape of Yama Kagi is perhaps a bit more serrated than other japonicums. Fall color is a breathtaking mix of yellows, oranges and bright reds. This variety can grow rather large, reaching 14-16 feet tall by 8 feet wide at maximum maturity. Like other japonicums, Yama Kagi is a vigorous grower. It can withstand temperatures to -20 degrees. Best suited for zones 5-9.

Yuri hime is hardy plant with small green leaves which have a fine feathery appearance. Beautiful fall colors that can include most of the rainbow. Yuri Hime sport is a slow growing and petite variety. Will grow to about 3 feet by 3 feet at maximum maturity. Sun with part shade throughout the day is best or zones 5-9.
