Kamagata is a very nice delicate looking yet sturdy dwarf. The bright green leaves are small and deeply palmate which curve downward at the lobes. In spring the lime green leaves have a reddish tint to them which later turns to a bright, light green in summer. When planted in the landscape, Kamagata forms a small, rounded tree to 5-6 feet high, so this is a perfect candidate for bonsai. This is a 4 year, one gallon plant.

Kurenai jishi is a beautiful compact dwarf palmatum, perfect for bonsai. The new foliage emerges bright red, maturing to copper-red. When kept in the shade, Kurenai jishi takes on an emerald hue. If planted in a landscape, Kurenai jishi will become 4′ tall by 3′ wide with age.

Kuro hime is a cheery dwarf that has deep green leaves, red petioles and bright pink-red leaves in the spring, making it ideal for bonsai. This tree has minimal grafting scars and nice branching. Fall color is bright red. Kuro hime forms a dense compact small tree to about 5′ tall in the natural landscape. Tolerates heat well and is all around hardy. This plant is 2-3 year old one gallon plant with a minimal graft scar.
