Kuro hime is a cheery dwarf that has deep green leaves, red petioles and bright pink-red leaves in the spring. Fall color is bright red. Kuro hime forms a dense compact small tree to about 5' tall. Kuro hime is well suited for smaller gardens and containers. Tolerates heat well and is all around hardy.

Lima Gold
Acer palmatum Lima Gold is a wonderful dwarf Japanese maple that has a cheery bright appearance. Great for Bonsai. A dwarf maple, Lima Gold has a dense form with tiny seven-lobed leaves are yellow-green in spring and summer, then turn to straw yellow in autumn. Lima Gold does best with part shade in hot climates. Lima gold habit and leaf shape is very similar to Sharps pygmy - but a lighter brighter green in color. VERY NICE! Mature size is about 2.5' tall x 2.5' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees F. Zone 5.

Mendocino Momiji
Mendocino Momiji is an exciting new cultivar that we are releasing into the trade after considerable evaluation for close to 10 years.
Mendocino Momiji is in the matsumurae group with deeply divided medium sized leaves. Leaves emerge in spring a wonderful peachy orange color with purplish petioles. As summer progresses the leaves pick up a blush of red on the light green leaves. Fall color is intense orange and red.
A wonderful small growing tree mounding to about 5’ by 6' in 10 years. It is hardy and can handle medium intense sun.
Mendocino Momiji emerged as a seedling from a parent scolopendrofolium tree.

Acer shirasawanum Microphyllum is a very nice maple that has small rounded leaves like the species. The orbicular leaves are deep green and somewhat shiny. Microphyllum is hardy and a strong grower. Fall colors are bright oranges and reds. The plant forms a small tree to 18' . Microphyllum means small leaved. Sun/ or part shade.

Mirte is a very unusual palmatum that has leaves that emerge in the spring chocolate-brown with a lime green venation. Leaves in summer turn to dark olive green and shiny. Acer shirasawanum Mr. Sun has large orbicular green leaves that radiate out like the rays sun. Possibly from a witches' broom, this shirasawanum has slightly curved leaves, with the margins rolling under, giving it a unique appearance. Beautiful coppery orange fall colors.
An upright maple, Mr. Sun will grow to about ten feet in ten years. Best suited for zones 5-9.

Murasaki kiyohime is a vigorous dwarf Japanese maple whose small light green leaves emerge bright green with red margins in the spring. Leaves turn glossy and dark green with purple-red margins by summer. Murasaki kiyohime is a great dwarf palmatum! Upright habit and bushy. Murasaki kiyohime is hardy to -10° F and will grow 6 feet by 5 feet in 8 years. Sun / part shade in hot climates.

Ogi Tsuma gaki
Acer palmatum Ogi Tsuma gaki is wonderful smaller version of Tsuma gaki that also has slightly rounder leaves, explaining ogi in the name, which is Japanese for fan. In spring the leaves display the attractive yellow-green leaf lobes which are tipped in red. Summer some of the red fades from tips and in Fall the leaves turn from yellow to orange to fiery red. Ogi Tsuma gaki is an upright Japanese maple tree that will become 6' tall x 4' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -10 degrees.
