Taylor
Acer palmatum Taylor is a very pink variegated Japanese maple. Its leaves are deeply lobed, with the whole leaf emerging overall pink in the spring, then turning to light green in the center. From early summer it gains prominent white margins and will hold it’s pink color throughout the whole season. Taylor is a very slow growing Japanese maple and will eventually only grow about 6 ‘tall and wide.
Taylor will form a dense and compact shrub even when young. Can be hard to grow especially in cold wet climates. Hardy to -10 and best suited for zones 6-8.
