Another wonderful cultivar of Acer circinatum, ‘Sunny Sister’ shines like it’s sister ‘Sunglow’. Sunny Sister displays tones of lots of apricot and peach (“more so than Sunglow”) as the leaves emerge in spring, fading to a lime chartruese yellow for the rest of the season. Slow growing this maple will reach 6 feet in 10 years. Morning sun with protection from hot sun is best. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.
