Amber Ghost

Acer palmatum Amber Ghost is a vigorous growing Japanese maple who’s new growth leaves are a delightful amber color in the spring. Leaves darken with distinctive reticulation (veins). Fall colors are wonderfully bright oranges and reds. This maple is part of the Ghost series named for their pale spring leaf color, (check out Uncle Ghost, Sister Ghost, Baby Ghost…)

Amber ghost is a very showy but hardy maple that will grow to about 10 feet planted in the landscape. Give morning sun and afternoon shade in very hot areas. Cold hardy to -10 F. Best suited for zones 6-9.
