Acer truncatum is native to the forests of northern China, Japan and parts of Korea, this lovely maple would make a nice addition to any landscape. An attractive small hardy tree to 20 feet, this maple can take heat and some wind. Leaves emerge in spring with a greenish- purple color. Seedling grown. Bark has great texture for Bonsai interest. Good yellow to red fall color. Sun/part shade.
