Lemon Lime Lace
Acer palmatum Lemon Lime Lace is a lace leaf maple that has leaves which emerge a bright yellow and slowly fade into lime color by summer. Summer time sun will bronze the lime green giving the maple a nice scarlet dusting. One of the more delicate looking dissectums, Lemon Lime Lace has finely toothed leaves and a feathery look. Fall colors bring lots of yellows and oranges.
Lemon Lime Lace is sturdy and relatively vigorous. Growth pattern is more horizontal, (weeping) and maximum height after 10 years will be no more than 5-6 feet tall by 5 feet wide. Sun /part shade is needed, as lace leafs can burn with too much sun. Best suited for zones 5-9.
