Hino tori Nishiki- Firebird

Hino tori nishiki is a beautiful Acer palmatum Japanese maple that has small leaves which emerge in spring with a pink – apricot color, changing to limey green as the summer progresses. In Japanese, “hino tori” translates to fire bird, an appropriate name for it’s stunning spring and fall colors. It is vigorous grower and will grow to 10 feet by 8 feet wide in 10 years. In fall it has very nice color displaying bright oranges and reds. Best suited to zones 5-9. Does well in moderate to full sun.
