Mikawa yatsubusa
$44.99 – $145.99
Mikawa Yatsubusa is a hardy green leaved dwarf Japanese maple whose leaves are spaced closely together on short, stubby shoots. “Mikawa yatsubusa” in Japanese translates to “a small cluster of three rivers.” A nod to the overlapping clustered leaves, which gives this maple a very unique appearance. Mikawa Yatsubusa has very nice branching habit. Fall colors are yellow orange to red. Moderate to slow growing. Very cool – one of our favorites!
Mikawa Yatsubusa reaches 4 feet in 10 years. Makes a great container maple or bonsai. Needs sun with part shade. Does best in zones 5-9.
