Summer Shipping Notice
Summer Shipping
Please note: we pack carefully for transit, but we can't guarantee against heat damage during shipping in extreme temperatures. If you'd like us to hold your order and ship at a cooler time, just let us know — we're happy to schedule delivery for when conditions are better.
Plant Appearance Notice
During peak summer heat (July–September), container-grown Japanese maples may show normal seasonal stress — leaf scorch, curling, or partial dormancy — depending on cultivar. This is a physiological response to heat, not a sign of poor health, and doesn't affect trunk, root, or graft integrity.
Every tree is inspected and confirmed healthy before shipping. Color and vigor typically return with cooler weather or once planted in-ground. Cosmetic summer stress is not grounds for a health-based return or claim.
Questions about a specific cultivar? Contact us anytime — happy to set expectations.
