Shindeshojo

One of our favorites out of all the maples, Shindeshojo is a medium sized maple with stunning spring and summer color. This Acer palamtum cultivar has some of the most brilliant red spring color of all maples! Place Shindeshojo next to green foliage in your landscape for an amazing contrast of colors. New growth on Shindeshojo is flaming scarlet or fire-engine red that holds for several months, gradually changing through mottled red to green in summer. Autumn colors are shades of yellows, oranges and reds.

A highly sought after maple. Full size will be about 8 feet tall by 10 feet wide. Hardy. Shindeshojo is very similar to Chisio improved and also Beni Maiko so be sure to check those out if we are out of stock. Best suited for zones 5-9.
