Okukuji nishiki is a highly desireable semidwarf palmatum that has variegated leaves resembling a smaller, more compact version of ‘Butterfly’. Okukuji nishiki has new leaves that emerge pink and green, then matures to white and green. Fall color is rose-pink. Holds up well in summer heat and humidity. Growth to about 8 feet.

A. japonicum Giant Moon
Giant moon is a new cultivar which we are still evaluating. Very large light green orbicular leaves emerge from this japonicum with tinges of pink. The leaves as they emerge are covered with a fine hair making them silvery in appearance. Growth appears to be similar to A.j. Aconitifolium in that it is open and layering. Sun /afternoon shade.
