Acer palmatum Waterfall is a hardy and fast growing green lace leaf (dissectum) Japanese Maple that will reach 6 feet in 10 years. Waterfall is a weeping maple, typical of most lace leaf maples. The light green spring color turns the full spectrum in the fall…yellow, orange to fiery red. Waterfall is hardy and can tolerate full sun, but needs partial shadein very hot climates. Waterfall is very similar to Virdis – but the leaf of the Waterfall maple tends to be slightly larger than Virdis. Hardy to -15°.
