Acer circinatum Burgundy Jewel is a wonderful small tree or shrub. The unique charateristic of this vine maple cultivar is that it has purple-red leaves which hold their color well throughout summer, especially in full sun. In fact, Burgundy Jewel holds its’ color best when placed in full sun! Fall colors range from brilliant orange to scarlet red. Burgundy Jewel will grow to about 6′ tall x 4′ wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.
