Acer platanoides "Drummondii"
Acer platanoides “Drummundii” is a large leafed maple typical of the Norway maple but it is beautifully variegated! Leaves have a green center with creamy white margins! Given the Royal Horticulture Society Award of merit in 1993. Leaves emerege often speckled with the variegation showing up later in the season. Like many variegates, young plants sometimes do not have variegation, but will develop once plants are older. It will reach about 35′ when mature.
