Amagi shigure

One of the most exciting maple discoveries, the Amagi shigure is a slow-growing, upright Japanese maple with bright brick-red leaves and prominent black veins. Fall color is vivid orange, red and purple. “Amagi shigure” roughly translates to heavenly rain shower in late summer”. The color of this maple is so outstanding Amagi shigure is also called Purple Passion.
