Moonrise
Acer shirasawanum Moonrise is a wonderful cousin to A. s. Full Moon and A. s. Autumn Moon. It is similar in leaf shape to both the Full Moon Maple and the Autumn moon but has a greater display of colors throughout the seasons. In spring the leaves emerge with an orange-red blush turning to a summer leaf color that is very similar to A. s. Aureum or A. s. Autumn Moon. Moonrise can handle the heat better than other Acer shirasawanums. Very nice and showy! Growth to 6-8′ tall.
