Acer shirasawanum Mr. Sun has large orbicular green leaves that radiate out like the rays sun. Possibly from a witches’ broom, this shirasawanum has slightly curved leaves, with the margins rolling under, giving it a unique appearance. Beautiful coppery orange fall colors.
An upright maple, Mr. Sun will grow to about ten feet in ten years. Best suited for zones 5-9.
