This Purple Ghost pre bonsai is naturally stunted, making it perfect for bonsai. Purple Ghost is a very dark red reticulated Acer palmatum. The deep, bright, purple-red leaves emerge in the spring which are then overlaid with black-red veins, gradually fading in the summer as the whole leaf darkens.

Purple Ghost is a medium sized tree that will grow to 10 feet planted in the natural landscape. This is a good variety for sun and heat tolerance. This is a 4 year, two gallon plant with a clean graft scar and unique branching.
